pfro
The Police & Fire Retirees of Ohio, Inc. will continue to be in the forefront of activities that concern all members of the Police & Firemen’s Disability & Pension Fund, working with the Pension Board, and the Ohio legislature which governs and sets the rules by which the pension fund operates.
OP&F Pension Fund
OP&F was created in 1965 by the Ohio General Assembly to provide pension and disability benefits to the state’s full-time police officers and firefighters. OP&F also provides survivor benefits and health care support for eligible retirees and their dependents.
About Us
We are a local chapter, affiliated with the PFRO (Police & Fire Retirees of Ohio). Our dues are $35 ($10 local & $25 to PFRO). For those 80 and older, you are a Life Member, and there is no charge for membership.
Our mission is educating retirees on retirement issues and helping with paperwork, especially on pension and healthcare benefits,
and to provide an environment for support and socializing with old and new friends.
